On the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Right to Life was restored by the Supreme Court. In future years, the anniversary of this historic occasion will coincide with the Feast of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist. Let us rejoice in the Sanctity of Human Life, from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death. As faithful Christians, we continue to reach out in charity to all people who are living, in respect to their natural needs as well as for their need of eternal salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord and God!
America, your deepest identity and truest character as a nation is revealed in the position you take towards the human person. The ultimate test of your greatness is the way you treat every human being, but especially the weakest and most defenseless ones. The best traditions of your land presume respect for those who cannot defend themselves. If you want equal justice for all, and true freedom and lasting peace, then, America, defend life!

Divided Hearts of America
A million-dollar budget isn’t much for Hollywood, but Benjamin Watson is hoping that it’s enough to tell a story and bring empathy to a hot-button topic. Venturing onto a new field, the New England Patriot’s tight end has executive-produced and partially self-financed Divided Hearts of America, a look at the debate around abortion in America.
The film is structured around a series of more than 30 interviews with Americans holding opinions from all over the political and social spectrum. Most notably, the film includes interviews with Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and former presidential candidate and neurosurgeon Ben Carson.
When questioned about his motivation for the film, Watson describes his goal as “… to unveil the truth about abortion, the laws, the history and where our country is headed. I believe in the sanctity of life, be it in the womb or on your deathbed. That’s my conviction. But with the film, I’ll engage those who disagree and hear their reasoning. The number one thing I’m looking for is empathy on both sides.”

Persuasive Pro-Life by Trent Horn. Are you afraid to talk about abortion? Don’t worry–almost everyone is. Either we think the subject is too impolite, or we don t want to be branded an intolerant fanatic, or we’re afraid we won’t represent the pro-life side well enough. Whatever the reason for this fear, it causes many of us pass up opportunities to speak out on behalf of the unborn. You can overcome this fear, says Trent Horn in his new book Persuasive Pro-Life. With a little knowledge and a few proven techniques, you can become a bold and effective apologist for life. Drawing on over a decade as a pro-life organizer, Horn helps you cut through the diversions and obfuscations of the “pro-choice” side in order to accurately frame the legal, historical, and medical issue surrounding abortion. Then he demonstrates with vivid personal examples from his years of campus activism the importance of being charitable in all abortion debates, no matter how strident the other side might be. We must be not just warriors for the pro-life cause, he says, but ambassadors for it. Then Horn leads you a guided tour of the many types of pro-abortion opponent or inquirer (“the pragmatist,” “the skeptic,” “the conflicted”) along with more real-life examples. In each case he teaches you specific approaches what to say, what not to say, and how to bear yourself that are custom-tailored to every situation. The struggle over abortion has never been hotter, and the stakes could not be higher. Read Persuasive Pro-Life today and never again be afraid to speak up for the precious and fundamental right to life.
What If We’ve Been Wrong? by Terry Beatley. Experience this compelling, true story of one doctor who deceived American judges, legislators, clergy and the public . . . and one woman determined to fulfill the promise she made him: to teach America the truth and deliver the doctor’s personal parting message until hearts change and Roe v Wade is overturned. You won’t be able to put this book down. In a small apartment in Manhattan, New York, Dr. Bernard Nathanson, the terminally-ill cofounder of America’s abortion industry who had trained Planned Parenthood doctors, revealed to Beatley:
- a pathway to healing for those exploited by the lies of abortion,
- confirmation of a racist population-control plan,
- a deadly political maneuver called the “Catholic Strategy”, and
- the profound loss of parental rights due to the fabrication of minors’ reproductive rights.
The book includes:
- The text from Norma McCorvey’s (aka Jane Roe) 2003 affidavit petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse the 1973 Roe v Wade decision
- An easy-to-read legal analysis of the SIX erroneous assumptions the U.S. Supreme Court justices made in the 1973 Roe v Wade decision written by McCorvey’s attorneys
- Many resource references to organizations.
